~ Immerse yourself in a soothing atmosphere as you let go of stress and allow your body to relax.
~ Experience a breathwork practice that will down regulate (calm) your nervous system
~ Delve into the profound practice of Yin Yoga. Release tension, calm the mind and create a sense of space & ease in your body. This is going to be a super relaxing, nourishing session suitable for all levels.
Yin Yoga is a gentle, slow form of yoga best known for its long, restful holds of postures (usually between 2-5 minutes) that can be enhanced by supportive props like blankets, yoga blocks & cushions. The holding encourages the tissues in the body to relax & soften helping you to let go of the tendency to grip & contract muscles. You’ll experience a wonderful feeling of space in your body and a sense of being stretched out in your own skin both of which can be incredibly healing and transformative.
~ Lie back, get cosy in your blanket & enjoy a calming Yoga Nidra. A guided meditation taking you on a journey through your body to a well of inner peace & stillness to restore your body’s natural balance.
Yoga Nidra is also known as ‘yogic sleep’. A deeply relaxing, ancient form of meditation that guides you to the place between sleeping & waking states of consciousness. Participants report sleeping better afterwards, experiencing improved mental clarity, less anxiety, and greater peace of mind.
~ Relax by a cosy log fire
~ All accompanied with a carefully curated music playlist designed to calm body & mind – essential to a good class in my opinion!
~ Before you head for home, slowly reawaken with a warming cup of Chai and a healthy treat before heading back out into the night for home & a good nights sleep.

Meet Your Teacher – Nicole Stone
Nicole has been practicing & teaching yoga for over 20 years having discovered it whilst searching for something to relieve back pain. She absolutely & truly believes in the power of yoga to enable men and women to enjoy greater flexibility, better mobility & strength in their bodies in addition to cultivating a greater sense of peace and wellbeing through using the various ‘tools’ of yoga. Nicole lives in Steyning, West Sussex and, for much of the year, also in Spain where she runs yoga retreats & weekly classes. Discover more about Nicole here

FAQs
What if I have to cancel my place after booking?
The ticket price is fully refundable if I have to cancel this evening for any reason. If you are unable to attend please let me know as soon as possible. I will attempt to fill your place from a waitlist – if there is a waitlist – or by re-advertising the place. If I am successful at reselling your space you will receive a refund of your ticket price minus a £10 admin fee. If I am unable to resell your space no refund will be given as costs will have been incurred on your behalf. Note that cancellations within 48 hours of the evening cannot be refunded.
What should I bring?
This is an indoor event but we suggest you wear warm comfortable layers that you can easily move in and bring a pair of warm socks. Please also bring your own yoga mat or a long sun lounger cushion, a blanket and a firm pillow – or cushion – and, if you have, some yoga blocks to prop yourself up with for some of the yoga postures.
I’ve never practiced yoga before is that OK?
This event is suitable for all yoga levels – including absolute beginners. As long as you can get up & down from the floor with ease you should be OK. If you have any chronic health issues we do recommend you speak to your medical practitioner to confirm if yoga is suitable for you or not.
